Card

Mike gave me a card yesterday that was so sweet. I feel compelled to share it:

A Promise of Love

With my lips,
I will kiss away
the teardrops that never should have been.

With my ears,
I will hear the things
you can’t always say
and listen when you don’t have the words.

With my eyes,
I will see the parts of you
that no one else has ever seen before
and tell you how beautiful you are
so that you can see it, too

With my arms,
I will hold you close to me
and make up for all the times
you should have been held.

With my heart
and my soul,
I promise I will love you
just as you were meant to be loved.
