Drifting

I woke up at 3 last night with an awful sickness in my stomach. My sleep was restless until Chani woke me at 6. With Mike’s encouragement, I managed to force myself to work, a decision I regreted the minute I started the car and was blasted by that obnoxious new song by Britany Spears. It was way to early in my schedule for pop music, so I pressed my finger against the “seek” button and left it there, drifting through channels, until I pulled into work. The library is quiet today, for now at least. I just finished labeling yet another box of government documents, but since I don’t feel ambitious enough to file them all yet, I’m just sitting here wondering if I feel dizzy from nauseasness or nauseas from dizzyness.
