So, I’m finally feeling the crunch. I’m trying to learn how to shuffle all my priorities; homework, Mike time, Chani time, household chores, sleep. This isn’t easy. I’m lacking sleep right now so I’m not dealing with the stress as well as I should. I’m trying to finish all my presentation stuff early so I won’t have to work on it at work or during the week when time tends to get away from me. I’ve been ignoring poor Chani all day. She’s like a child, always nipping at my legs for attention and looking at me so pitifully.

I’ve got stuff that’s needed doing for weeks and somehow getting round to it seems impossible. I know how you feel!

Hey Carleen:
Remember, I told you that if you were doing library school stuff that ultimately increases your knowledge and helps you do your job better. to go ahead and do it at work. So go ahead, and don’t feall too bad about it. Can’t government documents wait a couple of days? Help the patrons, work on your presentation, and don’t sweat it. It all benefits the library in the end.
Cheers,
Beth

Hey Sis, I hope you find a division of time that works for you…I think you got much better “time balancing” genes than I did (although we both got the “I feel blah for 4 hours straight” genes) so I know you will do better at this than I can! Don’t let your health and concentration get killed by too little sleep…remember Einstein slept 9 hours or something every day (or something), which is a kind of irrelevant point that I like to tell myself as I ignore my alarm clock…

Thatcher slept for three hours and look how badly that turned out. (Poll tax riots, mass unemployment in the north east of England etc.)

Good point, Duckling

Thanks, Beth. It really helps the stress to know that I can do things at work
