Not quite Halloween on that first picture! It was the middle of summer (you’d have to wrap up a little better than that in Aberdeen for Trick or Treat’ing).
You 2 always used to dress up in varying degrees of crazy outfits, regardless of time of year - or I should say, Mitchy would dress you up, and you went along with everything your hero did (I don’t think you had turned 3 yet on that picture). On that particular occasion, you were playing with the neighbour’s kids, whose father had made them those Roman “outfits” out of cardboard, and they let you borrow them.
Figures. I do sort of have one of those “what the hell is he making me do now” looks on my face.
Neighbor guy did a good job. Probably wouldn’t withstand a cavalry but it works for backyard play.
