Chrissy, I am so jealous that you can listen to music while on the job. I need a job like that.

My most favorite time to listen to music is while running. When I do I tend to listen to the same song over again...kind of get in a zone I guess. In the car I tend to prefer radio shows. Lots of NPR. That or audio books. Like you, Mike has really helped me broaden my scope when it comes to listening to music. Stuff I would have never considered good before I've learned to appreciate since being married to a drummer. :-)

I like things pretty random, too. I listen to Pandora.com almost exclusively at work and mostly as background music. At home, I do the same. I like to listen to music most intently in the car, when I'm by myself, and loud enough that I can't here myself singing along. I have a terrible singing voice. Tone deaf. I recently got an iPod shuffle for running, but I've yet to use it. I'm bad about finding new music for myself and would probably still be listening to the same four CD's I had in high school if Nathan weren't so ambitious about discovering the latest, greatest, underrated hits.
